Joey is a versatile his & hers shorts pattern. Two patterns in one. With different pattern pieces for men’s and women’s shorts.
The version with bias tape is the track shorts version. Think of the sponge shorts you wore as a kid, but in adult size. Wonderful right! The men’s model extends to the knee and the women’s model is quite short. Perfect sports shorts.
The ‘classic’ version for men can still be made in a sporty fabric, but equally in a stiffer fabric for a more ‘dressy look’.
The ‘classic’ version for women has two lengths. The short version can be made in a jeans fabric but also in regular cotton or french terry. The long version matches perfectly with a thin fabric draping it nicely over the hips.
